Kurdistan Region Salaries Deposited for September at 941 Billion Dinars

The Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Finance confirmed the deposit of Kurdistan Region salaries for September 2025, following a transfer from the federal government to the ministry’s account at the Central Bank branch in Erbil.

The move aims to ensure timely disbursement and enhance financial stability for employees.

According to the official statement, approximately 941.874 billion dinars were deposited to cover Kurdistan Region salaries for September, with detailed distribution schedules for ministries and public institutions to be announced shortly.

Officials said the payment process will commence immediately and continue over several days, using both cash payments and electronic transfers through the “Hisabi” program to ensure smooth delivery of Kurdistan Region salaries to beneficiaries.

This step reflects ongoing financial coordination between Baghdad and Erbil to maintain regular salary payments, reduce delays, and support economic stability across the region.
